Business Reviews

Birch Creek Golf Course - Open for holiday parties. Beehive Grill can cater.

Zions Bank - Beware of fraud!

Lee’s Marketplace - Christmas ads are coming. Look for deals on ham, butter, roast. Also watch for the 12 Deals of Christmas.

Alpine Cleaning and Restoration - Be careful of ice dams! With rain and melting snow, check for water.

Larry’s Pharmacy - Still have flu shots, including high dose shots for 65 and over.

Sky View High School - Happy to host Night of Giving. Love the cause and all the help given to local kids.

Family Place - Loved attending first Night of Giving. Still have their Giving Machine going - it is mobile and available to host offsite if desired. Also they have matching grants so any cash that comes in until the end of the month will have a 100% match.

Birch Creek Elementary - Loved attending Night of Giving. Grateful to have the need recognized and addressed within the community.

Summit Elementary - Happy to see community coming together to help others. Sees it first hand on a daily basis.

Sunrise - Thanks so much for the support!

McDonald’s - Been in business for 25 years. Loved the event on Saturday and grateful to be associated with the Chamber and it’s members. Inspired to get more involved.

Stapley Accounting - It’s end of year! If you have moved, make sure that any employers you have had this year have your current address for mailing tax documents. Schreiber - Glad to be a part of the Chamber. Eat more cheese!

Fresh Finish Painting - New to the area. Does residential and commercial painting and contracting.

American National Financial Services - transplant from New Mexico. Happy to be here.

Lion’s Club and Smithfield City Council - Lion’s Club always looking for new members. Thanks to Chamber for all their good works.

Smithfield Rec Center - Super busy! Top of Utah tournament ongoing. Turkey Trot was a great success - 540 runners this year. Pickleball leagues filling up and going great! Registrations open for dance, tumbling and martial arts. Lots of offerings for winter activities.

Smithfield City Council - City is now live on igov program. If you go on the city Facebook page or website, you can get a number to text questions to the city. Lots of growth happening. Looking for ways to get more voter turnout - last election was only 12%.

USU Credit Union - Now is a good time to refinance with low rates. Watch for fraud!

Preston Watts - Loved NIght of Giving! Watch for black ice. They offer 24/7 towing and promise no grumpy tow truck drivers.

Farmer’s Insurance - If you have an accident, make sure to take lots of pictures for documentation and stay up to date on your coverage.

Firehouse Pizzeria - Special on gift cards - by $25, get $5. Thanks to everyone!

Gibbons Accounting and Gibbons Green Gate Farm - Remembers old Smithfield Business Association and the Christmas event in the old youth center. Nice to see what it has evolved to be with Night of Giving. Farm Store will be open in January - selling beef and lamb on Thursday, Friday, Saturday mornings.

Night of Giving Recap

Things went really smoothly this year. We liked the chairs that we used from Gladfelder’s and will use again next year. Thanks to Kim Tippetts for vetting and organizing all the names that we buy for. Thanks to Schreiber for all the cheese and giveaways. The Smithfield YSA ward will be wrapping on Monday evening at the church behind McDonalds on Monday night from 6-8 pm. Thanks to Lee’s for a great job with the food.

We had our biggest year! We raised $30,472. Right now we have $14,000 in cash out to buy for families - that number will go up! Please contact your families ASAP so we can be sure to get them taken care of before Christmas.

2020 Memberships

Memberships will be due in January. We will send out information and Terri will invoice.
